Random post
Well, i finally found my dress for my second dance. I found it at a small antique, and consignment shop in Spartanburg. It was a very nice place, and the lady that owned it was extremely nice and polite...and they played 'his radio' which was EXTREMELY strange, and not usually done. They had a lot of beautiful dresses that were close to Bridesmaids style. I didn't think that i would find one there, and most of the dresses were expensive any way...but i found one (floor length), light, pastel blue, and with a very nice style, i tried it on, and found that it fit perfectly! We could hardly hope that it would be lower than 80 dollars, because that was the price of pretty much everything there...but it didn't have a price, so the lady decided on one...$25! We couldn't believe it. So i got it. I've never had to try on so many dresses in my life! I had to of tried on at least 16 in 1 hour! (Yes, crazy, i know). I also experienced something very horrible, and interesting. We were walking (as usual. )...And i was a little ahead of everyone, when i heard a sort of medium 'boom', i saw black smoke billowing from some where below where we were. We drove towards it, so we could find out what it was. a car had apparently wrecked, and gone into the woods, i think the gas tank probably caught fire and exploded (and that accounts for the boom). The Fire trucks weren't even there yet. :{. I'm most likely typing Jane Austin style, because i'm still thinking of her way of speech:), I just finished reading 'NorthAnger Abbey' (Jane Austin). It was very intriguing, and now Catherine Morland and Henry are one of my favorite couples:). Though i was sort of confused....the whole book led you to believe that General Tilney (Or whatever his name was) murdered his wife, and then in the end she dropped the whole mystery, and got married....wow....wow is all i can say. Sorry, i'm sounding a little book wormish right now...and i could swear that i didn't mean for this post to be so long...but that might be a lie.;)
